Get Your Garden Growing!

Spring is here and that means it is time for the annual Holden Beach Beautification Club Plant Sale.  This event is our largest fundraiser of the year and we depend on it to keep the island’s gardens looking great.  We will have a beautiful selection of annuals and perennials to brighten any home!

When:  Friday, April 22 and Saturday, April 23 (The weekend of Days at the Docks Festival) 8:00 am – 3:00 pm

Where:  Vintage Construction, 3003 Holden Beach Road – near Archibalds!

Did you know…

  • The proceeds from this fundraiser are used for plants and landscaping materials for the public gardens of Holden Beach
  • Club members plant the Town’s gardens twice each year, in spring and fall, with colorful annuals and are constantly tucking beach-friendly perennials into the Town’s gardens all over the island
  • Plants are grown locally at nurseries that support HBBC or are shared by members
  • Plants make great, lasting souvenirs to remember Holden Beach!
  • Can’t make it to the Plant Sale but still want to support us?  Consider sending a donation, it’s even tax deductible!  Go to our website and click the Donate menu or Click here.

Come out and support this worthwhile fundraiser and come away with not only a gorgeous plant for your home but knowing you helped make Holden Beach a little more beautiful!

Annual Donation Drive Begins

HBBC designs, plants, decorates, and maintains the public areas of Holden Beach.  This includes Padgett Garden (above), Town Hall, and the other gardens.

Each year we ask for donations to continue our work and this year donations are especially important.  We are renovating Butterfly Garden and completely redesigning and replanting Town Hall.  If you would like to contribute to the club’s work you may do so in two ways:

  • Send a check made out to HBBC of any amount to Vicki Myers, HBBC Treasurer, 301 Ocean Blvd. West, Holden Beach, NC 28462,

The Holden Beach Beautification Club is a 501C(3) Nonprofit and your donation may be tax-deductible.

We are grateful for any contribution you can make!
