Location: 628 Ocean Blvd. West
Description: The garden is at 628 OBW, don’t miss it! You have to really be looking for this quaint little garden on a small lot donated to the Town of Holden Beach. Local residents donated some landscaping with a bench and two birdhouses on the lot. HBBC took over the garden in 2011 and added hundreds of plants, water and mulch.
In 2014 we added a viewing deck, oak tree and several roses and again hundreds of plants! We know it’s a haven for rabbits and deer but it is such a serene place sitting there and looking over the marsh. HBBC also added a third birdhouse and it looks great! Come sit and watch nature with us!
In 2015 HBBC added four large pots at Pocket Park and we change the plants in them on a seasonal basis. We will continue adding perennials each year to get a full garden appearance. Stop and look at them when you can!
