Location: At Halstead Street and South Shore Dr. on the Waterway

Description:  Halstead Park is almost a local secret. Located at the end of Halstead as it crosses South Shore Drive, it includes a public fishing pier on the Intracoastal Waterway. HBBC maintains the flowers and shrubs, and bulb planting. There is a large gazebo there so you can observe the boat traffic from the comfort of the shade!

This park and the fishing dock were made ADA compatible in 2023-2024.  HBBC did extensive replanting after the work was completed.  The park features Bottle Brush plants, Hydrangeas, Day Lilies, and various other perennials.
